Gary Reggish Tapped As 2007 REALTORŪ of the Year
Gary Reggish has been named the Western Wayne Oakland County Association of REALTORS® (WWOCAR) REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY). The announcement was made at the most recent WWOCAR Board of Director meeting.
This year, 5 candidates were nominated for the prestigious honor. Each was reviewed in the categories of REALTOR® spirit, activity in civic affairs, WWOCAR involvement, service at the Michigan & National Associations, business and educational experience and support of WWOCAR initiatives.
In making the selection, the ROTY Committee noted Gary's involvement in community events and programming, lending his efforts to several local charities. Gary has also been extensively involved in community service having served in leadership roles at the Northville Central Business Association, Northville Rotary Club, Northville Chamber of Commerce and he served on the Gibbs Group Study Commission that established the tenets for the future growth of the community. His role in raising funds for charities doesn't stop at the local level. Gary and his sales associations have raised monies for national and international relief efforts. He has also been involved in several areas in the school council, including serving as President of that group in 2005 and 2006.
At WWOCAR, Gary has served on several committees and task forces. He currently is serving as WWOCAR's 2007 President Elect. His main interests are centered on community, education and governmental initiatives, and establishing value to members within the various organizations he serves. Recently, Gary has expanded his volunteer activities to include the Michigan and National Associations of REALTORS®. Gary is a WWOCAR Elite Member and an RPAC Sterling R contributor.
In his spare time, Gary facilitates a multiple mastermind group on goal setting and goal achievement. Plans are underway to have Gary set up a similar program at WWOCAR.
As it is with all of WWOCAR members that have been recognized for their achievements, we don't have enough room to tell about all of Gary's accomplishments. Gary is fond of saying that if you want to get a job done, give it to a busy person. Gary's achievements personify this spirit.
