Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I make more than one claim per accident?

A: Yes.  For example, an individual who has torn knee cartilage possible claims would be: ambulance benefit, emergency room benefit, diagnostic exam benefit, hospital admission benefit, surgery benefit, hospital confinement benefit, physician office visit, physical therapy benefit.

2. If am sick from Cancer am I covered by the plan?

A: No.  This type of plan only covers accidents not illnesses.

3. If I drop my membership with WWOCAR will I lose coverage?

A: No.

4. If I have an accident and my health insurance plan covers it, can I also file a claim under the Accident policy?

A: Yes.

5. Does this plan cover all accidents?

                        A: No.   Some accidents are excluded see brochure for further details.

6. Do I have to be a real estate agent to be eligible for the plan?

A: No.  All members of WWOCAR are eligible.

7. Is there medical underwriting to qualify for coverage?

A: No.

8. Are the rates based on my age?

A: No

9. What does Off-Job Coverage mean?

A: If an accident happens when you are not working you can claim a benefit.   Work related accidents are excluded.

10. What is the Monthly Income Benefit Rider?

A: It pays the Monthly Income Benefit chosen.  If the Primary Insured is unable to work in his or her regular employment due to an Injury from a Covered Accident.

11. What is the Return of Premium Rider?

A: It pays total base premium less claims after 20 years.
